I don’t know whether subscribing to asos’ emails was a good thing or a bad thing. Great for the amazing sales but unbelievably bad for my bank balance. I’ve always been an asos fan, but I always found there’s so much stuff on there it can be overwhelming. I like to shop; but boy am I lazy whilst doing it and browsing through asos can sometimes feel never ending.
I got an email about their amazing sale though and I had a plan. I ‘filtered’ my search to everything under £10 which gave me a quarter of the items to look at but gorgeous stuff all the same. I bought four things from the sale for £10 and under and I thought I’d shared them with you before they sell out.
We haven’t even reached spring yet and I’m already buying for Summer. I couldn’t resist this gorgeous coral and blue tie dye kimono with the gorgeous long tassels. It’s quite oversized so I bought it in a size down. Although I have a tonne of kimono’s already, this one seems quite boxy in shape which is different to my usual kimonos which are quite drape-y… if any of that makes any sense? I’d say it’s more tiger lily than boho chic.
Well don’t I feel naughty and the worst friend in the world. Maybe I never really intended to give this to a friend but I used that as an excuse to buy it for myself…I dunno. Either way I’ve kept it! LOL! It’s sooooo soft and fluffy, I love the colours, I love how thick it is, I love how big it is and it was such a bargain price; I couldn’t resist. It’s definitely competing against my ‘cosiest scarf of all time’.
This is totally not my style at all, but for £8.50 I thought why not try something new? You know me by now and my love for knitwear; I just likes to be cosy. The sleeveless side of cosy though is normally not me, neither is this rather tangerine colour but YOLO…which is also a new one on me. I’ve no idea what to wear this with and I actually think it makes me look rather frumpy but I’ll figure it out.
I am so excited to wear this! I’m just waiting for the right occasion. It’s quite 70s in style with the high collar and the flared sleeves. It’s also really stretchy fabric making it ideal for Little Miss Porky over here. I’m planning a night out for this very dress I can just imagine it now…dancing the night away twirling around with some chunky black heels and a fancy clutch.
So there we have it. 4 amazing things I bought from Asos today and boy how I love them all!
Where have you been finding amazing sales? Do you think Asos sometimes has too many amazing things??!
